fastqtl software package provides Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) mapper in cis for molecular phenotypes, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fastqtl
fastqtl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fastqtl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fastqtl *
You will get with fastqtl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
